A Place Built for the Unhurried
Witches Brew is a specialty coffee house on Canal Street with a covered outdoor patio, dim lighting, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. It is not trying to be a tourist destination. A home for green witches and old souls, for practitioners of every path, and for anyone who knows that a good cup of coffee is its own kind of ritual.
The drink program is built around craft and intention: draft matcha sourced directly from Japan, teas hand-blended on the Oregon coast, drinking chocolate traced to a single cacao family in Nicaragua. Everything in the pastry case was made in house.

Tomato Club Rescue
A quarter-percent of every coffee sale goes to Tomato Club Rescue — Louisiana's first orphaned neonatal kitten rescue, founded in 2021 for the tiniest, most critical, and special-needs kittens who would otherwise have nowhere to go.
It's not much from any one cup. It adds up.
No upsell. No guilt-trip. Just coffee, and a quiet line to the ones who need it most.
We are on Canal Street in Mid-City — not the Quarter, not the Bywater. A neighborhood spot on the streetcar line, with rear parking and a covered patio that stays open when the weather cooperates, which in New Orleans means more than you'd expect.
The building sits beneath Swan River Yoga. The patio is shaded. The WiFi works. There are enough seats that you won't feel rushed, and enough going on that you won't feel like you're sitting in a chain.
If you're driving in from outside the city, we're an easy stop between the French Quarter and Metairie on Canal
