Metairie Cemetery at dusk — the elaborate tombs catch the full moon in ways that require witnessing. Then come to 2940 Canal St. We'll be open.

St. Roch Chapel in the morning, before it gets warm. Read the ex-voto offerings in the back room. Things released, debts paid. Drink tea.

Bayou Sauvage at first light. The city is quieter at this phase. The egrets are always there regardless. Let the marsh do what it does.

The Voodoo Spiritual Temple on Rampart, if it's open. Our Lady of Guadalupe on the same block. This is the phase for endings and readiness. Almost dark again.
